Books published and to be published
A jíguaguao, the character's first book, created without an editorial commission, was a dream come true that had been in the pipeline for a long time. The initial idea after writing several scripts was to make the drawings of the stories myself, but just in those days I was in the process of traveling to Colombia and it would be cumbersome to comply with the first deliveries since the first scripts that I made were approved thinking in the children's magazine Zunzún, I had to look for a cartoonist right away, but it couldn't be just anyone, it had to be someone who met the conditions for that assignment, after thinking and looking for the person who proposed the job, I spoke with my colleague Héctor Saroal Gonzáles (Saroal ) we had known each other for many years and we had spent together the comic book script workshop of the Union of Journalists of Cuba, in addition to knowing his line and good work, we worked together in the April Publishing House and I decided to talk to him about the project, he was the indicated, I liked his style of drawing and he was always very serious with his work, it fit very well for the project.
Before traveling to Colombia I was able to finish several scripts of the character enough to publish it in Zunzún in each issue of that year, but in the end for reasons beyond my work it was only possible to publish a two-page comic with a cover included.
In addition to the scripts that were previously written with Zunzún in Colombia in mind, I continued writing even when I did not have a new cartoonist to illustrate the stories, once again I had to find a new illustrator who was willing to continue with the Project...
